The cool autumn breeze arrives in golden autumn. With the pleasant autumn colors, on the morning of September 28th, the 14th Autumn Track Meet of Anqing Foreign Language School's east campus was grandly held on the school sports ground. Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, Vice Principals Liu Bing, Xu Xuchang, Yan Hongping, Principal Assistants Lao Guolin, Qian Zhihong and Director Li Ping of the Junior High Department attended the opening ceremony. In addition, all the teachers and students from the Junior and Senior High Departments enthusiastically participated in the sports feast.
Facing the rising sun, Anqing Foreign Language School's teachers and students quickly gathered and lined up in order. In the solemn national anthem, the autumn track meet kicked off.
First and foremost, Vice Principal Liu Bing delivered the opening speech. Afterwards, athlete representative Zhang Zhuoran from Class 7, Grade 12 took the oath. Additionally, referee representative Wu Hanwen took the oath, and President Madam Huang Wenli announced the opening of the sports meet, which was followed by the breathtaking student performance. More remarkably, the opening ceremony culminated in the large-scale performance of ‘Core Socialist Values’ by 1,000 people. What’s more, the students, dressed in school uniforms, formed a square formation. With neat movements and bright smiles, each student held a red national flag and formed impressive fonts successively such as prosperity, democracy, civilization, patriotism, dedication, 2021 and the emblem of Anqing Foreign Language School. More than 20 fonts converted freely, which was spectacular. The teachers and students were full of vigor and enthusiasm to celebrate the National Day, welcome the National Day and bless the 72nd anniversary of the motherland. The opening ceremony reached its climax with a creative performance of 1,000 people and the audience welcomed the golden age with songs and laughter.
On the other hand, on the track, the athletes had lofty aspirations and staged wonderful duels, who went beyond their limits and surpassed themselves again and again! After more than two days, with the unity, efforts and hard work of all teachers and students, the 2021 Autumn Sports Meet of Anqing Foreign Language School came to a successful end. Later on, the closing ceremony was presided over by Vice Principal Liu Bing, and school leaders attended the closing ceremony as well.
In conclusion, President Madam Huang Wenli delivered the closing speech in which Madam President fully affirmed the success of the track meet, and expressed warm congratulations to the winning classes and athletes on behalf of the school, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the referees, staff, teachers and students. Development requires success and success requires hard work. Thus, let's work harder and fight harder! President Madam Huang Wenli wished the students a safe, happy and fulfilling National Day holiday!
